What is a breast ptosis?
Breast ptosis is characterised by sagging breasts frequently associated with a cutaneous distension giving this appearance of "drooping" breasts.
This breast ptosis can be natural or secondary to weight loss or pregnancy.
How is the first consultation with Dr. Alain Ankri?
This consultation allows Dr. ANKRI Alain to analyse the degree of ptosis of the breasts, the quality of the gland, as well as the quality of the skin. Pre-operative photos will also be made.
Conduct of intervention of breast ptosis
It is performed under general anaesthesia and requires 12 to 24 hours of hospitalisation.
The duration of the intervention is about 1h30.
The residual scar of this procedure is a so-called "pure vertical" scar, that is to say with a peri-areolar scar and a scar from the lower pole of the areola to the sub-membrane groove.
What are the post-operative sequences for a breast ptosis?
They are simple and not very painful. The bandage will be changed every week until the points are removed between the 3rd and 4th week post-operatively.
Dr. ANKRI Alain recommends wearing a sports bra or sports bra for a period of 6 weeks, day and night.
