Mammary Ptosis

What is a breast ptosis?

Breast ptosis is characterised by sagging breasts frequently associated with a cutaneous distension giving this appearance of “drooping” breasts.

This breast ptosis can be natural or secondary to weight loss or pregnancy.

The goal of the procedure is to put the areola and the nipple up, at the right height, to reconcentrate the breast, put it back in the right position and to remove the excess skin which allows to obtain an harmonious curve.

This procedure can be performed in isolation or can be associated with the placement of breast implants if the patient also wants to increase the volume of her breasts.
